F.A.Q's

Q. Why choose Pole Secrets?
A. Because unlike some of our competitors Pole Secrets is an established and world recognised Pole Dance Fitness School. All our Tutors are qualified and experienced. We work to a tried and tested course structure that will ensure you develop your skills in a professional environment.

Q. Does size, shape or age matter?
A. No. By following Pole Secrets unique program anyone is capable of achieving great results. Our classes are flexible to the individual students ability. You will be having so much fun you may not notice what great shape you are getting in!

Q. What should I wear?

A. Normal gym or aerobic wear with suitable gym shoes for your workout. For pole dancing we recommend bare feet as you are learning. You will also need to keep your fore arms and lower legs exposed to make maximum contact with the pole. It is important not to wear oil or cream on your body.

Q. Will I feel embarrassed?
A. No. The thing to remember is that everyone is anxious at first. We are all working together for the same goals and will guarantee that within a short space of time you will feel at ease with the pole and your fellow students.

Q. How many participants are in each class?
A. That depends on the venue. To ensure that everyone gets the right amount of training we have a maximum limit of three students per pole however it is often less. Be aware that your workout is so intensive that you will be glad of a break between practicing your moves.

Q. Is it safe?
A. Yes. Safety is our primary concern. At all times you will be supervised and supported to ensure that all moves are performed and taught safely and effectively. Pole Secrets holds full public liability insurance.

Q. But I have no dance experience?
A. Pole dancing is designed so that even those with two left feet can move gracefully around the pole. You will soon learn to move comfortably and confidently in your own style.

Q. Do I need to take my clothes off?
A. No.

Q. Can I wear heels?
A. No. We do not allow heels as by wearing them you could quite easily injure yourself. Also, with shoes gripping the pole it can also give a false sense of strength that does not allow you to develop correctly.
