Race for Life is the UK’s largest women only fundraising event where all the money raised goes to funding Cancer Research UK’s life-saving work. Pole Secrets are proud to sponsor such a worthwhile cause and this year will be involved in the events and actively raising as much money as they can!

When I first came up with the concept of organising a Guru event revolving around a pole and a hard surface, half the community thought I had given myself a pre-emptive alternative hen night without a bride! Not so, as I decided that the burden of a stuffed Christmas turkey left me clucking on about an impending calorific shower, and ways to hone and tone going into December.

The ‘First Ever Pole Battle Live in The O2’ has now happened! As the UK’s premier Pole Dance Fitness School, Pole Secrets are always at the fore front of Pole Fitness and responsible for driving the sport forward. They have set the standards again within Pole Dance Fitness competition with their O2 event VENUE KLASH on 12th November 2009. This event gave the general public an opportunity to witness sports history being made, and spectate the sport in its true form giving it the credit it deserves.
