Claire Wright

Claire is the founder and Managing Director of Pole Secrets Ltd.

Pole Secrets was one of the first independent Pole Fitness schools and is now regarded as amongst the most respected
Pole Fitness companies in the world.

At a young age Claire was passionate about dancing. She trained in all types of stage performance but her particular fondness was for Jazz, Ballet and Contemporary.

Claire studied Art and Design at the London Institute as a teenager before her creative instincts led her to music. She studied Sound Engineering and Music Technology and then forged a successful career in the music industry.

After the birth of her first child Claire became aware of pole dancing and recognised the need for high quality, individually tailored tuition.

Claire returned to her dance heritage in 2005 with the formation of Pole Secrets. She is truly committed to helping other women discover their own inner confidence by expressing themselves through dance and performance.

Claire is a highly experienced and qualified Pole Fitness instructor. Her continuous passion to drive pole technique, further accreditation and establish Pole Fitness as an accepted form of physical fitness is relentless.

Claire is the author of Pole Secrets’ innovative, structured syllabus and is responsible for changing the lives of thousands of women. She has drawn upon her background of music, dance and performance to combine into what we know today as ‘Pole Secrets’.

Emma

Emma is the Instructor Development Manager for Pole Secrets and also a Pole Secrets Tutor.

Emma trained at Central School of Speech and Drama specialising in physical and musical theatre with a successful career as an actress for a number of years.

Emma is a fully qualified fitness Instructor and personal trainer. She specialises in Pilates and Yoga and is a keen advocate of strength training. Her passion and drive for fitness has brought her to pole fitness and has become an invaluable member of the Pole Secrets team.

‘I find the art of pole inspirational and aspire to the concept and journey of Pole Secrets. I am driven by knowledge and am addicted to improving my skills as a dancer and teacher’.

Emma’s classes are challenging, focused and full of fun and laughter.

‘I love teaching and look to forward furthering my own individual journey with Pole Secrets and to assisting my students and teachers on theirs.’

Belinda

Belinda started pole dancing in 2006, Perth Australia, out of curiosity because she had heard it was a great way to tone up, lose weight and keep fit. Little did she know that it would soon become an obession and, further on, a job! She fell in love with the beauty and grace of the artform and also loved how her body changed in shape and strength. Belinda is proud to pass on her experience and Pole Fitness knowledge to her own students, and enjoys watching them develop through the levels.

"Pole Fitness gave me a new found confidence in my body and made me realise that exercise wasn't just about running on a treadmill or going to a gym - it could be a lot of fun aswell!"

Caroline

Caroline has been involved with dance and fitness since the age of four participating in Ballet, Tap, Modern and subsequently different contemporary styles. She became an undergraduate at Roehampton University where she studied Contemporary Dance with Sport Science. In her second year of university she studied Exercise, Nutrition and Health. Caroline has recently graduated with a Master’s in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Greenwich.

Whilst at university Caroline became interested in pole dancing which soon changed from a once-a-week hobby to a daily way of life and form of fitness training.

“I have great fun teaching classes and advising students on all matters of Pole Fitness, exercise and health. Working and dancing for Pole Secrets has not only been enjoyable and exciting for me but it has opened a huge window of opportunities to meet a wide range of people, boost my self confidence and improve all aspects of my dancing and fitness from flexibility, agility, strength and endurance."

Ciara

Ciara is a Director of a Textile Agency. She began her journey with Pole Secrets as a student when the classes soon changed her preconception of pole dancing.

‘Pole Dance fitness is fun and challenging and slightly addictive! When I started I found all the tutors were lovely. I met some really nice people through doing it, so I decided myself that I wanted to teach to share my passion.”

Ce Ce

Ce Ce trained as a professional dancer at the prestigious stage school Stella Mann College. Upon leaving, her work saw her traveling the world. She furthered her career by working as a choreographer for a prestigious production company in Mexico.

After two years Ce Ce returned to England to gain her qualification in fitness and is now currently working towards her Pilates qualification.

Ce Ce is a full time mother to a young daughter who is undoubtedly her proudest achievement to date!

Gemma

Gemma was one of the first Pole Secrets students, and with no former dance training she fell in love with this beautiful sport. Gemma trained fully with Pole Secrets and AMAC Sports Training to gain her Exercise to Music Qualification, enabling her to teach and become a part of the ever growing Pole Secrets Family.

Nanny by day, Pole Secrets Instructor by evening, Gemma tells us she not only has the best job in the world but the best two jobs!

Gemma is from a large family which has played a definite part in making her a confident and well rounded individual, and most certainly a fun and compassionate Instructor.

Georgina

Georgina is a talented and experienced dancer. She graduated from Stella Mann Performing Arts College in 2006. Following her graduation Georgina has had great achievements with recent credits including;
Lead Singer in ‘Motown Mania’, (UK Tour), Maureen in ‘Rent’, ‘Cinderella’ and ‘Aladdin’.  

As well as her dance talents Georgina is a rising star within her vocal career.

Georgina recently choreographed ‘Annie Get Your Gun’ (Union Theatre) and is the resident Choreographer and Director for Pyramid Pantomimes, currently working on an adaptation of ‘Robin Hood’.

Genevieve

Genevieve started as a student at Pole Secrets. It didn’t take long before she was hooked and had the persistence to achieve the entire syllabus and successfully work her way through all the Pole Secrets levels.

Pole Secrets noticed Genevieve’s talent and passion and subsequently invited her to join the team. She has now been assisting since 2008.

"I really enjoy helping new students and hope that by sharing my own experiences it gives them encouragement to achieve. Although I don't have a dance background I believe that this is helpful when assisting the students as it proves that anyone can do it!"

Isis

Isis is trained in Yoga, Pilates, IDTA Ballet, Contemporary, Commercial Dance Hip Hop, and personal training on powerplates. She has choreographed hip hop dance crews for the U D O British and World Hip Hop Championships in both 2008 and 2009. She entered as solo in the British Championships Advanced and came 2nd place. Isis has also choreographed commercial music videos and has toured with HeadKandi as a dancer.

Isis is a very bubbly and outgoing person, with fitness and dance being her main work and passion. She likes to reach her goals in life is very hard working.

"I enjoy teaching Pole Fitness as I like to see results. I make my classes fun and with plenty of learning. I love to build my students self esteam, flexiblity confidence, give them sense of achievement and importantly, an all over feeling of well being. "

Kandice

Kandice started dancing at a young age whilst at the Sylvia Young Theatre School where she studied Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Modern. Her love of dance has continued through later life.

Kandice gained a Diploma in Personal Training, Sports Therapy, Body Massage and Optimum Sports Nutrition which led her to a career as a Personal Trainer. Kandice also works with children and has gained a NVQ in Childcare & Development.

“When I was introduced to Pole Fitness, I fell in love with the art of pole dancing. It provided me with the opportunity to both keep fit and dance at the same time, giving me immense enjoyment unlike any other sport. I have progressed my way through ‘Pole Secrets’ training to become an instructor. I am a confident and outgoing individual and I feel I bring my personality to my lessons. I really enjoy helping my students to develop and realise their full potential at the same time as having fun.”

Cat ( Catherine)

Catherine is a new addition to the Pole Secrets team. Her enthusiasm and dedication to her classes is always apparent when teaching.

Catherine started as a student and her talent and energy was quickly recognised.

‘I loved Pole Secrets classes and quickly became hooked. It is easily the most fun I’ve ever had exercising. I am so happy to be able to teach and pass on what I’ve learned and help people get as much out of Pole Fitness as I do!’

Kerry

Kerry started dancing at just 4yrs old, learning both Tap and Ballet. She then progressed on to Peter Preedy's Dance School studying Ballroom and Modern. Kerry has continued danced throughout her adult life.

After knowing Claire Wright for many years she decided to join Pole Secrets. She progressed through all levels before assisting Claire, Sarah and the other teachers at the Pole Secrets studio in St. Peters Street, Maidstone.

Kerry has also been a qualified Hair Stylist for 21yrs specializing in bridal hair as well as all other aspects of hairdressing. She has owned her own business for the last two and half years. With this knowledge Kerry has been able to assist Pole Secrets with photo shoots and shows.

Kerry bring's fun and laughter to all classes and is inspired when the students excel. She is a firm believer that Pole Fitness is a great way to keep fit and meet new friends, and is happy that at last there is something for all body shapes and ages!

Mada

Mada started her dancing career at the age of five in Johannesburg, South Africa, where she attended the National School of the Arts. She specialised in Ballet, Spanish Flamenco, Greek and Contemporary Dance.

After finishing school Mada obtained a degree in Sports Sciences from the University of Johannesburg, and completed a master’s degree in Applied Linguistics.

Combining her passion for teaching, dancing and training, Mada is now a qualified Personal Trainer with full credentials in Exercise to Music and Spinning as well as specialising in nutrition and weight management. She also serves on the REPS Member's Council.

Mada’s classes are a reflection of her forceful and creative personality. She is known for getting the most out of every training session!

Selina


Selina started pole dancing lessons with Poles Secrets in 2007. As a keen fitness fanatic she wanted to try something ‘different’ that would not only be great exercise but fun at the same time.

Selina is a qualified Studio Instructor, and further to completing her qualification she auditioned to become a Pole Secrets Teacher and put all she had learnt to practice! Her career with Pole Secrets started when she began assisting Gemma, an advanced instructor and performer at Pole Secrets. Selina now teaches classes, private lessons, workshops and tasters sessions.

"Pole Fitness has become part of my life. It’s improved my core strength, body shape and fitness levels. I am more confident and I enjoy putting together my own routines. I love teaching and having been a student myself, I believe I am able to relate to them; providing help, support and guidance. Whether the students are there to improve their fitness, tone up, become more confident, or to learn the art of Pole Dance Fitness I am there to make it happen!"

As a bubbly, energetic and personable person teaching Pole Fitness lessons has been right up Selina's street, and she enjoy every minute of it! She strives to make the classes as fun and relaxed as possible.

Zoey

In her daytime role Zoey is a Senior Customer Service Manager for a major E-commerce fashion company.

She is a qualified Karate instructor, holds a black belt and has won many medals and awards at competition.

Zoey is friendly, persistent and a very ambitious dancer.

“I love when students walk into a class and say: ‘I will never be able to do that’ only to find a few weeks later that they are able to do exactly the same move! As I revel in 'details' I strive for my teaching quality and coaching points to be accurate enough for students to understand the moves immediately. Nothing gives me more pleasure than students leaving feeling happy, buzzy and excited about learning new moves next week!”

Zoey is a qualified Level 2 Fitness Instructor and has been with Pole Secrets since 2007.

Brook

Brook started pole dancing in 2006 and has progressed on to become the leading male Pole Performer in the UK. Brook is one of our most  advanced instructors. Not only is he a master of Pole, he is a former fashion design student so it is obvious he has a highly creative nature.

“I simply love pole dancing. I spend most of my life upside down and spinning around! It’s the talent, physical demand and attention to detail required that inspires me.”
