Deposits

You may book a place on a course with a minimum deposit of £50.00 or by making payment in full. Once your payment has been processed then you will be deemed to be booked on the course or class you have specified.

Courses

Full payment is required no later than seven days before the start date of the course or class. If you are paying the deposit on behalf of a friend, you will be liable for the remaining balance should they not pay the balance themselves.

Variations to order

Please be aware that when you make your booking your commitment is for a particular space on a particular date. In this respect it is similar to an Airline ticket or entry to a Cinema screening. In order to operate our courses effectively Pole Secrets relies on the commitment of its customers to uphold their part of the agreement. If a customer should need to change their booking it may have consequences for the running of our business since Teachers and Venues need to be pre-booked. Therefore we respectfully request that you furnish us with as much notice as possible.

Cancellations

If you should choose to cancel your booking for any reason then Pole Secrets requires ten working days notice prior to the course start date. If you have booked your course less than seven working days before the course start date then you will be deemed to have waived your statutory rights. It may be possible in some circumstances to offer a refund if your statutory rights have expired but only if an alternative student is found to take your space. For any cancellation there will be an administration charge of £30.00 unless we are able to mitigate our losses. The administration charge is to cover transaction fees and the time spent processing the order.

Transfers

Once you have made your booking you are entitled to transfer to a different course or class provided that you furnish Pole Secrets with at least ten working days notice before the start of the course. It may be possible in some circumstances to be transfer later than ten working days but only if an alternative student is found to take your space. Transfers are subject to a £30.00 administration charge. The administration charge is to cover the time spent processing the order.

Missed Classes

If you are unable to attend a class for any reason it is unlikely that we will be able to offer you an alternative session. If we are able to offer you another class and you choose not to accept the alternative you have been offered then you will not be entitled to a refund. If you are aware that you will miss any classes in advance please advise Pole Secrets at the time of booking and we will endeavour to provide you with an alternative session. Please be aware that Pole Secrets is under no obligation to offer replacement classes.

Parties, Privates and Workshops

Due to the individual nature of the booking Pole Secrets requires a minimum of ten working days notice in order to cancel or transfer a Party, Private or Workshop. All cancellations are subject to a minimum administration charge of £30.00 and you will also be liable for any costs incurred as a result of the cancelled booking ie: the Venue Hire or loss of earnings for the designated Tutor. Pole secrets will endeavour to mitigate its losses in all instances.

Variations to scheduled classes

On some rare occasions it may be necessary to make alterations to the start date, time, teacher or venue locations in order to operate our classes effectively. All students will be notified of any such changes.

If Pole Secrets need to change the Venue for a particular class due to circumstances beyond our control then we will ask students to be reasonable in accepting an alternative venue.

Behaviour

In order to maintain the high standards of our classes Pole Secrets reserves the right to refuse admission or participation to any student who is deemed to be acting inappropriately. If a person is excluded for unacceptable behaviour they will not be entitled to a refund.

Merchandise

All items ordered are subject to availability. If for any reason the goods you have ordered are not available we will inform you as soon as possible

Acknowledgment and Acceptance of your Order

Assuming that you have supplied us with your email address, we will notify you by email to confirm receipt of your order and email you to confirm details.

Merchandise Cancellation Rights

Under the United Kingdom’s Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel your order for any item purchased from Pole Secrets Ltd, for a full refund.

If you have not yet received an email to say that your order has been dispatched, you are able to change or cancel your order if you wish. Please contact us between 10.00 am and 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday, with your details.

Merchandise Returns Policy

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item or items to us in their original condition within seven days of receipt. Pole Secrets will issue a full refund on receipt, or exchange the item for a different size if preferred. The refund will not include shipping or your postage costs. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel using a service that insures you for the value of the goods.

Merchandise is posted by standard delivery and is packed using quality ‘Polylope’ bags. Items are not Insured unless specifically requested. Please note that Pole Secrets will not be responsible for losses of un-insured items.

Injury Waiver

By agreeing to these terms and conditions you hereby waive, release and discourage all claims that you may have against Pole Secrets Ltd for injuries of any manner from participation in the Pole Secrets courses lessons unless they are a direct result of Pole Secrets negligence. You are obliged to seek medical advice before carrying out any exercise.

Complaints Procedure

Pole Secrets are proud to have implemented a Complaints Procedure endorsed by Trading Standards under the ‘Buy with Confidence’ Scheme.

We will endeavour to deal with any complaint in a prompt, effective and courteous manner. We will look to answer your initial written complaint within five working days.

All complaints will be recorded and we will attempt to resolve the issue within one month of receipt. If this is not possible we will endeavour to provide a written explanation for why the complaint has not been resolved and detail what steps had been taken.

If a satisfactory conclusion cannot be reached then it may be possible in exceptional circumstances to refer the matter to Trading Standards for advice, seek a resolution through the Court Services or introduce a mutually agreed independent Arbitrator.

Data Protection and Privacy

Pole Secrets is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of its website users and customers.

We do not use cookies on our websites and you can access and browse them without disclosing your personal data.

Pole Secrets will only collect email addresses from those who voluntarily sign up for any one of our free email newsletters. We do not sell or pass on these addresses to any other organisation, or use them for any other purpose ourselves.

The personal information held about our customers is the minimum necessary to facilitate the running of our Business such as contact details and order history. We do not sell or pass on this information for any purpose.
